Simple Practices that Lead to Wealth
Last week, I visited with a friend of mine that I had worked with for almost a decade. We have a number of things in common including a very positive attitude and a general belief that life is a blessing. It’s no coincidence that we have both been through our share of good times and tough times.
For some, it’s hard to admit they need help with their finances. For others, they are happy to delegate this responsibility. No matter how you feel about your finances, it’s critical to retain control.
People are responding to this recession by putting their finances in order. And, they are breaking away from the bad habits that helped get us all into this mess.
You can’t be involved in personal finance without someone bringing up the subject of budgeting. Many people are passionate about budgeting and they want to discuss every virtue and detail.
I’m seeing a lot of comparisons in the news between the current recession and the Great Depression of the 1930s. There are lots of comments such as, “This is the highest number of foreclosures since the Great Depression”.
